Susan Boyle is nominated for “International Album of the Year.”

As many of you may know Susan will be celebrating her birthday on April 1st. To help mark the occasion we were recently contacted by Jeanenne aka GritsT from the Susanboylemusic.com forum.  Jeanenne has been working hard getting Susan’s fans from all over the world to sign her online groupcard and has collected almost 500 birthday messages so far! We can now reveal that Susan is planning an extremely rare guest appearance with the famous Yomiyuri Nippon Orchestra in Japan on April 1st 2010! She was invited by the orchestra to guest at their planned spectacular concert at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo to a capacity crowd of up to ten thousand people. Susan will be arriving in Japan a few days ahead of the performance where she will spend some time relaxing and rehearsing with the 80 strong Orchestra. Although it is a little too early to confirm the song list, an early indicator is that she will sing “I Dreamed A Dream”, “Who I Was Born To Be”, “Amazing Grace” and “Wings To Fly”.

During the summary of the recent interview Susan did with the CBS Sunday show, it was incorrectly reported that Susan plans to tour.

At present there are no plans for a tour. Susan’s management have asked us to relay this to fans and are concerned that this sort of misinformation can lead to unscrupulous vendors setting up ticket scams.

Fans are advised not to purchase/place deposits for tickets if they are offered. There is no tour planned at present.
