Hello everyone,
Spring is almost here – thankfully. I have seen more snow in Scotland than almost any other year I can remember. And what a year it is turning out to be! Last year I thought the most exciting thing that could have happened to me would have been to make an album. And that still ranks as one of my best experiences ever. What I didn’t know then was where that album would take me.
I have been to Germany, France, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Monaco. And I have been to America and Japan. In each of these places I have been fortunate enough to have performed in front of some wonderful audiences in some brilliant venues. The Tivoli Gardens in Denmark was amazing and performing in New York in Rockefeller Plaza for the launch of the album was an experience I will never forget.
Most importantly, it is the people I have met along the way that have made this such a great experience. I was lucky to have enjoyed tea with two ladies in Chicago who had followed my story from the start. And the fans who presented me with the beautiful quilt in New York will never be forgotten. I gave the quilt they made for Pebbles to the lady who is taking care of her and she tells me that Pebbles sleeps on it every night at the bottom of her bed!
It is also the letters I receive from people that mean so much. I wish I could respond to every one of them but I do get so many that it is nigh on impossible. I have a huge mound of letters at home in Blackburn and there are some very special things there that have been sent to me – some of the artwork in particular is very accomplished. My mother took up art in her 70s and I know how much effort goes into your paintings and drawings. If I don’t reply to you personally please accept my sincerest thanks now for all your support and good wishes.
My travels will continue almost up until I begin making my next album. I say bring it on! I said recently in an interview that dreams do not have an expiry date – and I am thrilled to still be living mine.
Here’s wishing all your dreams come true too.

Dear Susan,
How wonderful that you consider the people you have met to be the most important part of your great experience!
As the fan who was privileged to sit by you in NYC and present the quilt, it is a real thrill to know that you treasure it enough to still speak of it three months later. As a bonus, you have told us what has happened to the Pebbles quilt!
Your zest for life combined with genuine gratefulness, which we saw expressed in Rock Center Cafe, are so evident in this message. Those qualities are just two of the reasons we said on that November day, “We love you not only for what you do, but for WHO you are.” Those words are still true….and always shall be.
Dearest Susan,
Just wanted to let you know how happy I am for you; read an article in one of your local papers about the payment of your royalties by your birthday. I am only sorry it has taken so long for you to receive it, you’ve worked so hard for the last year, bringing joy to soooo many people.
Well my dear you’ve earned every penny and more. I wish you continued success and happiness. You deserve it,our Wonderful Susan.

Since I sat here in the Rhone valley in Switzerland the sunday after your 1 performance I have been feeling very close to all your events. I sat here alone in my caravan crying after your song. I lisened many times to the edition on you tube and tried to find you on the net. To praise your voise but most of all to warn you from prolpe who now would try to get hold of you, your voice and earn they living grace of you. But I couldn´t find you and couldn´t write you. I do hope you are surrounded of honest people and I will stay here listening to your dream and voice and wishing you all the best in this dream that has come true. Take care Susan please. Dearest Susan,
I finally got some energy to run a few errands while listening to your album,as usual. It’s been a tiring week for me so I’m going to relax this week-end too.Wanted to say that I’m glad you took part in the fund-raising show. So please forgive me for being selfish and looking forward to seeing you perform ‘Wild Horses’ again with the camera on you only, not even on the orchestra, smile. Will you be singing it in Japan? Hope so and this time really wish they’ll allow all your performances to be posted on YouTube so that your fans around the world can enjoy seeing you perform; we’re eagerly awaiting it. Otherwise would you post it here? It’s your birthday and we all want to share in the celebration of you, even across the miles. We love seeing you anytime, but I guess you know that by now, can’t get enough of you. Please continue to be patient with us, you’re enthralling, therefore we’re wrapped up in the wonder of you…. The Adorable Susan Boyle!! Our Superstar!!
Have a great night…. Love you, Sandra.
