Hi all Susafan friends,
Susan with her Music, has forged many friendships between Susafans across the world. You only have to read all the wonderful messages you send to each other.
The grand schemes you dream up. The adventures you go on. The photographs you post are amazing. All the jokes, and leg pulling that goes on
Fans meeting in Edinburgh, a brilliant saga, which kept us all glued to our computer screens. I dont have to mention names we all know who they are, Super members right down to Newbies. Now its Oregon meets Denmark, what a beautiful story this will be.
I think most of us wish we could be there.
I sent my two friends, now in Oregon my best wishes, with these few words, which I can now share with you, my Susafriends.

Okay, Vita arrived safe and sound—at least physically. I was waiting at the concourse in the terminal and of course missed Vita when she disembarked through customs. Wandering about in a fog, suddenly someone came up behind me and I was being hugged (Vita recognized my hat from a distance and knew it had to me Bonnie). Egads, I had missed her entirely. Well go figure. We had to sit down to catch our breath before venturing to the car. An emotional meeting to say the least. We head for the beach in the morning. More to come later alitgator.
Vita, and so glad that you and Bonnie were finally united at the airport. I’m sure that your mutual meeting was very exciting. So glad that Bonnie wore her “signature hat”. I look forward to reading about yor adventure to the beach and the “more to come later alligator”!

bunnyohare, I’m in total agreement with you. I can hardly wait to hear of the further advertures this week of Bonnie and Altena together. And yes, indeed, this site is “as good as theirs [the other SusaFan sites], and the “the friendships and good hearted teasing in here are something special”. as you said. My very first trip to the US began earlier today - quite funny to start the journey 28th at 7 a.m and end it 3 and a half hours and several thousand miles later. That time difference can be quite annoying - you can ask Bonnie .

Vita, I am almost that you certainly must have been experiencing “jet lag” with your crossing time zones of arriving here in the states thosands of miles away in officially about 3 l/2 hours. I am sure that Bonnie knows precisely how it made you feel. Hope the two of you have a fantastic visit together in Oregan. Perhaps others will join in the fun there with you. Our sweet Vita is “tuckered out” and in bed asleep. She actually scared the “you know what” out of me when she came up behind me and grabbed me with a hug. Guess who was looking the wrong way waiting? Ha! A very busy day for us both—too much excitement me thinks. But how very wonderful. Tomorrow we are off to the beach. Linda I hope we get some good photos to post—we both have new cameras and I haven’t figured out how mine even works! We need you here kiddo. But we will try our best and there will certainly be some photos posted as soon as possible. Until them, if we can access the site Vita can write her impressions of her first visit to the US—I’ll just loiter about in the background. See you on the OS soon my friends. Bonnie

lindanne, great simple instructions for Vita and Bonnie’s operating their new camers! How clever you are to think of that advice! You’re a smart, resourceful gal with lost of photographic experience, apparenty. I’ll bet that Vita and Bonnie find that operating their new cameras is just as simple as following your directions. “Let the camera do the rest” is pretty well how electronic devices work today.
