Selimron,
You are one clever sleuth! Dark chocolate is especially hard to pass up!
I wonder if they ate chocolate at the M & G?
ROFLOL….............Seli were you not aware that Clemmie is addicted to chocolate? Her absolute mega favourite is the Boston mud cake (did I get the name right Clemmie?)

We were all given a bar of chocolate at the Meet and Greet by a very kind and generous susanfan!! I can’t remember who it was but Vita will know. I do remember Susan being given a choice of three different bars and she pulled a face and tapped her hips!!! She did take one I think!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haggis . Egads - I can’t make a direct link on this keyboard. Stop laughing Bonnie !
Well - here we go:
Haggis Ingredients:
1 sheep’s stomach bag
1 sheep’s pluck - liver, lungs and heart
3 onions
250g beef Suet
150g oatmeal
salt and black pepper
a pinch of cayenne
150mls of stock/gravy
yummie - maybe I now regret a little about yesterday. Hah!
This Can’t be what Haggis is made of…No…No…I’ll stick to my chicken…
Thanks for the info though. I don’t care if it tasted good, after reading this…could not eat it.
This thread is simply fantastic… I cannot believe the adventures you had! Next to the Adventures of Dyebat in Japan, this certainly has stolen the show. The detail of your writings is supurb and pictures were fantastic. I know all of the people in the pictures, but actually have only met “wasforgas” in person, as well as having met Susan herself at the Chicago airport very briefly. Just seeing these pictures warms my heart.
Starting this thread, keeping it up, and carrying us through all the perils, adventures, and meet with Susan is more than we could have asked for. Thank you for sharing…Subofan originally predicted only 7 people to be at this meet…it looks like that figure may have doubled by the pictures. Absolutely ... wonderful for both of you do do all of this for everyone.
I am sure I will be back to re-read most of this again as it is all so incredible.
Thankyou so much for your kind words and also I received three of your lovely Susabuttons - I was so thrilled!!! Thank you!! I am so happy that you enjoyed our efforts. We were so priviledged to have this wonderful opportunity of meeting our beloved Susan and all the other susafans that the least we could do in return was to share the whole experience with everyone here! Believe me we had great fun posting. Vita taught me how to upload the pictures when I was with her and so this helped enormously to enhance the work when I got home. I am overwhelmed at the amazing responses and gratitude we have both received from everyone. It has been a delight and a pleasure - as well as very amusing!!
BIT OF A PROBLEM HERE! CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE “EDIT” IS NOT CLEARING FROM MY POSTS? I HAD A FRIEND ROUND THIS MORNING TO GO THROUGH THE THREAD AND SEVERAL PHOTOS WERE MISSING FROM THE POSTS!
BECAUSE THE EDIT IS STILL PRESENT I CAN PUT THEM IN AGAIN BUT I’M NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT! CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING WRONG??? I AM SURE THE EDIT WAS NOT THERE YESTERDAY!! HELP!!
LINDA
EDIT
I’VE PUT ALL THE MISSING PHOTOS BACK IN AGAIN BUT I REALLY NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THE “EDIT” ON MY POSTS SO THAT THEY DON’T DISAPPEAR AGAIN!!!
UPDATE
SORTED WITH HELP FROM ARIEL - THANKS - PHOTO PROBLEM WAS WITH IMAGESHACK - EDIT STAYS ON OWN INDIVIDUAL POSTS - NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE IT! SHOULD BE OK NOW!
I’ve been immensely enjoying the accounts of the Edinburgh meeting with our dear Susan. What fun it must have been! And I have to put in my two cents about haggis, too. I vote with the majority!!!! UGH and Yuck! That’s all I have to say on that subject. Is there any further word on whether ther will be a gathering for Susan’s birthday or a world meet? I don’t know where to find any news on that, and I certainly am interested because I would LOVE to be part of it. Also, the pictures from Edinburgh are BEAUTIFUL. Thanks so much for sharing them. Kathy
Kathy,
As soon as the world trekker (Altena) gets the wondering out of her system - she is in Oregon now, Scotland @ 2-3 weeks ago -I bet she will start formulating a plan. From another post Altena stated she would have to get with Susan’s team regarding this. There are a lot of Susafans here on this site I’m sure have their suitcases packed just waiting. Welcome to the group.

dear Altena has a thread “Susa World Meeting” I bet she will post updates there.
Thank you for replying. I guess it’s pretty obvious that I’m dying to meet Susan. If it’s at all possible I will make it happen - somehow, somewhere - YOU’LL SEE!!!!!!!! Kathy

Hi yall… Wasforgas who is from Switzerland brought chocolate to share with everyone. When It was Susan turn to pick she chose white chocolate.
Nice to hear from you! Thanks for the clarification - I thought it was white chocolate but I wasn’t sure! We had a great time didn’t we? It was great to meet you! Hope you post again!

This is just a little aside. The tattooed gentleman is the famous soccer (fubol) star David Beckham.

SusaFans All, I think I was born with an addiction to chocolate. I consume some every single day. I far prefer the DARK chocolate above the “watered-down” MILK chocolate! To me, if one is truly addicted to chocolate, that addiction requires the DARK sort. I’m sure that most of you realize that the DARK chocolate (which cannot be alkalized or gone through what is called “Dutch-Processed”, which removes the health-giving benefits from the DARK chocolate) is actually good for your health! I consume about 4 ozs. of dark chocokate cocoa daily in hot chocolates made with skim milk and Equal artificial sweetener. Yet I weight about 105 lbs. and and slender and never over-eat and also eat a well-balanced diet of wholesome foods daily. At my age I have lost 2 l/2 inches of my height, and am now down from my former 5’ 3 l/2” to just 5’ 1” tall.
My birthday is August 2, and I’m looking forward to that. My son and his family of nine have been on vacation in Florida on Sanabel Island off the eastern coast of Florida, at which place they have a time-share, which they enjoy immensely. They called me yesterday on the phone to sing “Happy Birthday” to me via long-distance cell phone. They expect to arrive back at their home in North Carolina late Sunday night, August 1st. Then before the week is out they plan to leave again for a trip to the American North West. They’ll be back home again on or about August 26, and my son’s 55th birthday is August 27. We’ll have a joint get-together at my home for his and my birthday celebrations together! I look forward to that. I love each one of you. I think you already know that by now. I send my best wishes to all SusaFans!
