Last Sunday Susan travelled by car from Blackburn to Loch Lomond to film at The Cameron House Hotel on the loch. Susan has filmed there before - remember the scenes of the sea plane landing in the I Dreamed A Dream TV special?
The Cameron is so beautiful and peaceful and is not too far from Susan’s home so it seemed like the perfect place to revisit for a special feature for the CBS Sunday Morning show. The show is aired out of New York and Susan had met their correspondent Mark Phillips in the very early stages of her career. It was a very nice reunion. Mark and Susan were filmed in the cosy library at The Cameron and after strolled together chatting through the hotel’s beautiful loch-side grounds.We will keep you posted as to when the show airs and provide links.
On Wednesday Susan will be going to Spain to perform I Dreamed A Dream on Dancing With The Stars. She flies out to Madrid in the morning, she will travel directly to the TV studio for rehearsals and will perform later in the evening. The following day she will pre record the Ana Rosa show - for those who aren’t familiar with this show, it is similar to the Oprah Winfrey show in America. As this is the first time Susan will have visited Spain, she is really looking forward to sampling some spanish food and warm hospitality.
oh blimey…just typical….I have a wee Bothy on Cameron Home Farm (directly across the road from Cameron House) and I was there when Susan was there and missed her!!!!....was in London at my flat in Chelsea and Susan was at BBC studios and I read about it the next day and when she was in Paris, I was in Scotland and I live in France!!!!! I seem to read about these events AFTER the event….one day, I shall be in the right place at the right time and perhaps meet the lovely lady….would somebody give me the nod please! :0)
