Susan’s Birthday Bash in Japan!

Susan has just left her pre Birthday gathering. She and her ‘Red Scarfers’ had a wonderful afternoon. They arrived en masse complete with red scarves and special Birthday issue wrist bands. They sported Susan Boyle buttons which they had designed themselves - very professional job too! - including a really special Tokyo April 1st commemorative Birthday badge.
The party took place on the 48th floor of the highest building in Tokyo. The room had huge windows overlooking the city. After Susan had blown out the candles on her Birthday cake it was sliced up, plated up and eaten up! Afterwards Susan and her gang sat around giggling and swapping stories against the panoramic backdrop of the city below, while the Tokyo sunset seeped across the horizon.
Susan was presented with some wonderfully thoughtful and generous gifts and a huge bouquet of long stemmed red roses. When asked Susan said, ‘I have had a wonderful afternoon. These people are fantastic. They have come all the way from America, Australia,UK and Japan. This is why I am able to do what I do - because of their support and love.’ They are a remarkable group of supporters; their organiser said, ‘This started as a small idea. A couple of us asking if anyone wanted to go see Susan sing in Japan and before long it became global!’
After a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, Susan left. As soon as she was out of sight one lady asked, ‘Can we jump up and down and scream now!’. They did - very loudly!! Ladies, please do send us your memories of the day as we would love you to share them.
