This is a quick note to keep you updated on my Susan Search. I know I have hinted that the response to the competition was overwhelming and that was not an exaggeration! As well as the volume of entries the overall standard was so high that it was incredibly hard for me and my team to decide on a shortlist of finalists. Well I’m really pleased to say that I am down to my final 10. Keep an eye on my website as I will be announcing the winner very soon.

Thank you so much for sending in all your entries to the Susan Search on YouTube The standard has been really high. Thank you also for the lovely messages you have included. I have really enjoyed watching them.  I have continually been overwhelmed by the number of entries – I genuinely didn’t expected there to be so many.

So this week me and my team will be going through thousands of renditions of Silent Night and although it will be very difficult to chose just one person, the winner will be announced here on my website and on YouTube on August 2nd.

The album continues to lock up the top slot on the Billboard 200 chart for a fourth week in a row. Currently, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ is the second-best selling album of 2009 with only Taylor Swift’s ‘Fearless’ standing in its way.

She conquered the music world in four short weeks and today Susan Boyle has claimed the prestigious title of the Number 1 Christmas Album of 2009!

Last Monday 15th March was a great day. I flew to London to have a meeting with my record label, Syco.
