A battle is shaping up over the release of Scottish singer Susan Boyle’s debut album.

Boyle has told sources that she would like to debut the album, which comes out in late November, on the BBC radio show hosted by her idol, Broadway and West End musical legend Elaine Paige.

However, her boss Simon Cowell has plans for a high-profile launch, possibly on his UK talent show “ X Factor.”

Boyle has made no secret of her admiration for Paige, known for her association with Andrew Lloyd Webber and her role in his production of “ Sunset Boulevard.” She has said that Paige’s music kept her going through many difficult times her in her life.

“I have all her albums and love the way she uses every lyric to translate the story,” Boyle said.

Debuting the album on the radio show would be a way for Boyle to thank Paige for coming to see her live on a U.S. TV show, where the two finally met.

In any event, Paige will get an exclusive interview with Boyle, though it may not be the first one after the album is released.

Susan was forced to cancel her performance at AGT after Lou Reed bans her from singing his song live.

I just have to edit my post here. Susan was supposed to be taping her new song at America’s Got Talent’s auditorium on September 8, but she had to cancel the performance after Lou Reed bans her from singing his song live on America’s Got Talent. I am pretty sure that this guy has heard Susan’s version, and it is miles better than his own. He is just jealous of her.

Just a note to tell you we love you in America. Remember you are a star, and being a star will have a lot of bumpy roads. There is a lot of jealousy in Hollywood, a lot of people can be very mean, remember that. I listened to that song on You Tube, it wasn’t all that great anyway. Always pick incredibly beautiful songs, “demand” the most beautiful songs from your advisers. Joan Baez and Judy Collins have both said how they are always looking for good songs. Hello Susan and susafans
To all Newbie’s out there, you will find this is a great site. All Susafans will welcome you. I am a newbie myself and I have contacted, and been e mailed by lovely people on the forum. from all around the world. I should point out though, instead of I, it should be We, I am verse and my cousin is drum. He leaves me to do all the posting on the forums, due to his own singing commitments There is a bond which seems to unite all Susan fans as you will find out.
Loneliness is no ones friend, was written when reading about Susan’s early years, before her dream came true, and some of the tough times she had, my cousin Drum set it to music. The song is out there in cyber space thanks to our Susafan friends who have been emailing it to each other. Its called “Everybody needs a Friend” see link below

Long may Susan’s star, continue to shine, uniting people around the world.
We are all grateful to our lovely lady Susan. Post a New Topic yourself, and you will be surprised.
