Here is a short statement from Susan regarding recent events reported in the media:
“Thank you so much for your messages of support. I’m absolutely fine. It was very concerning for everyone but it’s all under control. The police have been excellent.”
Dearest Susan,
I have read a lovely post from one of your fans ‘CanadianBill’ and thought that I would post it here. He gave a quote from the Historian:Roy Nichols, here it is: “The most beautiful people I know are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known loss, and found their way out of the depths. Those people have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion
and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.” End of quote.
That touched me so much because it expresses a lot of who you are Susan and for the first time I left a comment on the forum of the fan site.
It reminded me of a writer ‘Helen Steiner Rice’ she has many books which are very encouraging, here is part of a quote, from one called “Before you can dry another’s tears you too must weep.”: “Let me not live a life that’s free from the ‘things’ that draw me close to Thee….For how can I ever hope to heal the wounds of others I do not feel….If my eyes are dry and I never weep….How do I know when the hurt is deep….
.......For, without “crosses to carry” and “burdens to bear” We dance through a life that is frothy and fair. And chasing the rainbow “we have no desire for roads that are rough” and “realms that are higher.” So spare me no heartache or sorrow, dear Lord, for the heart that is hurt reaps the richest reward. And God enters the heart that is broken with sorrow, as He opens the door to a “Brighter Tomorrow.” For only through tears can we recognize, the suffering that lies in another’s eyes.” End quote.
See Susan? Beautiful people don’t just happen, it’s quite a process isn’t it? You’ve probably read her writings already but I’ve just been thinking of this one and decided to write to you about it. Her books are good, I’ve enjoyed them over the years.
Our Lord has given you a “Brighter Tomorrow” and it’s a joy to see you so happy. You have triumphed and will continue to do so….
I can just imagine the gifts you’ll be getting for your birthday this year
some early and others in time for it,hope you like them all,as you’ve said of your other gifts. Our way of saying that we love you….
Enjoy the visit to Spain, our beautiful and awesome Susan!
With love always….Sandra.
Dearest Susan,
Hope you have a great time recording your interview for the CBS show, showing them around your home town and surrounding areas that you love so much. Wish it could be live,to be seen this Sunday. Looking forward to it.
As I said before, I love your part in the single to help the people of
Haiti, and will buy it. You sing from your heart and you know by now that you’re not alone in this world. Please be assured of that….
Stay strong, our Superb Susan!xxxx Sandra.
Susan, I am glad to know you are feeling okay. Such incidents are frightening but I am glad you are standing firm in making your own decisions. I pray for you daily, as do I know so many of your fans. You are so loved.
Hi Susan, have you ever thought of singing some of the old time Gospel favorites? LeAnne Rimes does a nice one called Have you ever seen ten thousand angels cry…beautiful for your voice, also You light up my life,
also Bridge over troubled waters, Somewhere my Love, I know that isn’t Gospel, but a really nice “oldie”...I would love to hear you sing some of those, let me know, eh? God bless, stay close to HIM, He is our guide and leader and our confidant….love sis Gwendolyn Fisher
Dearest Susan,
I’m so glad that you’re feeling safe and secure in your home again, please take the necessary precautions and live where you feel content/happy, which you are, as you stated in your interview for the Dutch TV. We all love you so very much and want the absolute best for you….Stay strong.xxxx Sandra.

Susan, your many fans pray for you daily. Uppermost in our hearts is your safety and well-being. There are “tigers” out there that want to steal your dream; don’t let them.
We love YOU dearly. Judi
Susan, I just read about the incident here on your site. I’m glad to hear you were not harmed and am hoping you’ll find a sense of safety in your home again.
Warm thoughts being sent your way -

Katie
Dear Susan
I´m from Sweden and I love you music very much. Take care and good luck!
DEAR SUSAN, I HOPE THAT YOU HAVE HAD A HOUSE ALARM INSTALLED, WITH SECURITY CAMERAS. I KNOW YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO LIVE IN YOUR FAMILY HOME, DESPITE THIS INCIDENT, SO PLEASE TAKE EVERY PROCAUTION. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD HAVE A GUARD DOG TO ROAM AROUND THE PROPERTY IN YOUR ABSENCE, BUT I GUESS THAT MIGHT NOT BE PRACTICLE.STAY SAFE!.
I just returned from my Mother’s Funeral in Syracuse N.Y. I see you have experienced some things that shake a person to the core. Even the bad guys want to be fans, but they handle it quite differently than we the ones who prefer to BUY items, and CD’S. My Mother’s house now sits alone with no one to make it a home. It is so true that ” Home Is Where The Heart Is “. It will probably be sold as I and my siblings have our own homes where the hearts are. That home saw so many things, from Merry Christmases,Easters, Birthdays, and of course, Thanksgivings where we all gave thanks for that roof over our heads. Still somewhere in the back of my mind I am hearing my parents say keep the house, being mortgage free, let a Grandchild live in it and pass it down through all those special moments that will hold them for ever, in the hearth, the kitchen, the dining room et al. If your home makes you happy and warms your heart it is meant to be. Let your soul guide, you not others to decide where you will abide. Kathy W
